The type of data is this for the age category - option c Ordinal
Because Ordinal data is qualitative data and not based on numbers , exact difference but mainly calculated by mode or median method. In this case age groups are not with exact difference in numbers and not providing exact value between age groups
Other options are incorrect as option a Nominal is basically called as name as it is qualitative and not quantity based which don't have numbers in it and such data has names or labels for example colour of a dresses can be blue , black , red .So options and choices are labelled or named and not numerical unlike this question
Option b is also incorrect as Interval provide quantitative data by giving exact difference in values such as difference of 10 between 10 - 20 and 30 - 40 but in this case exact value and difference can't be determined.
Option d is also incorrect which is ratio as Ratio called as outmost which provide order , exact difference and exact value and it also have an absolute zero which is not in this case.
Thus the correct option is C - Ordinal type
