What is the essence of marketing? How can marketing demonstrate accountability in a health care setting?
What is the essence of marketing?
1.The essence of effective marketing strategies is a clearly defined set of goals and a method to prove that those goals are met or occuring.
2. The essence of marketing is to attract customers to a business. Good customers are okay, great customers are best. Every business wants customers just like their best ones.
3.Marketing is a part of doing business. Business is an activity in which you create a product/service which people want and get them to pay money for it. It is, of course, not that easy. There are two major problems in business. One is making a product which people want. Another is selling it. Marketing is concerned with selling. Marketing is about finding people who need your product and convincing them to buy it. That is the essence of marketing.
How can marketing demonstrate accountability in a health care setting?
Health care accountability demonstrated through seven tiered model.
1.Health care marketers to demonstrate effectiveness of their strategies and show their contribution to organizational goals is growing.
2.Seven-tiered model based on the concepts of structure (having the right people, systems), process (doing the right things in the right way), and outcomes (results) is discussed. Examples of measures for each tier are provided and the benefits of using the model as a tool for measuring, organizing, tracking, and communicating appropriate information are provided.
3. The model also provides a framework for helping management understand marketing's value and can serve as a vehicle for demonstrating marketing accountability.
