Yes, I do think that I could be good sales person because the qualities which a good sales person requires I surely posses. I will acquire best possible knowledge of the organisation whose product/service I am selling along with detailed information about the product/service being sold. I can show patience towards various queries of the customers which may or may not be related to the product and try to satisfy the customer. I will assure the customer that I will be available if any issue arises related to the product/service provided by me. As proper communication is one of the leading skills a sales person requires, I will be deal with customer politely and try to convince that information provided by me is true and their decision to buy the product will be right decision.
My best purchase experience was buying a household product (washing machine) from a local dealer. I was provided with all the information I required before making purchase decision. The staff present at the showroom greeted every customer in a cheerful manner. They assured me that if any problem arises with the product they will try to best solve that at earliest possible time. They convinced me about timely after sale services.
My worst purchase experience was buying a garment from a local garment shop. I did not find the purchased product as per my requirement. The shopkeeper turned to be very aggressive when I decided to return the product as exchange was not possible due to non availbility of other quality product though I was given assurance regarding return of the prodct, if not found fit. So, the shopkeeper should have made me clear about the return or exchange policy before the purchase of the product .
Communication skill of the sales person contributed maximally to my best or worst purchase decision. It is words of mouth of the sales person which can strengthen or tarnish his image in the eyes of the customer. With good communication skills a sales person can convince a customer that his purchase decision will be right otherwise if seller possesses bad communication skills it results into loss of customers.
