The situation I would like to describe is adopting a cat.
1. I was quite apprehensive about adopting a cat. On one hand, I felt as though it would be a huge responsibility that may possibly become a burden on my life. But on the other, I was overcome with love when I first saw my cat and really felt like I should take her home.
2. When I finally decided to adopt my cat, I felt really excited about welcoming a new member in my life. I was driven to take care of her to my best possible ability. I also immediately began thinking of a lot of tasks to carry out in order to accommodate her into my home.
3. This situation was quite spontaneous as my friend asked me whether or not I wanted to adopted the kitten her cat gave birth to. She told me to inform her about my intention as quickly as possible, as there were many other people interested as well.
4. The situation involved my friend who gave me this chance to adopt, as well as my flat mate who I share my home with. I was quite sure that my decision would be positively welcomed by them.
