Describe an issue you have had with an employer that is mentioned in the chapters. It could be lack of due process when terminated, discrimination, lack of equal pay, etc. If it is too personal or you do not have an example, find one on the web or ask a friend. "Employee SH Workplace Issues" and "Employee SH Diversity and Discrimination"

For example:

I wanted to work at the cannery when I was in college and was told I couldn't have the well-paid cleaning job because that was only for men. When I asked which parts of the job could not be done by women, they said they didn't really know but it had always been that way. They did give me a job on the conveyer belt.

This was a form of probably both disparate treatment (to me because I was denied the job and told it was because I wasn't a man) and disparate impact maybe too (because there were no women in that position, it was a well-paid role at the cannery and therefore, women in general probably were impacted because they received lower pay and opportunity overall at the cannery).

Answer) I would describe an issue faced by one of my friend at her workplace where she was let go or in other words terminated from her job owing to her refusal to do a job which was not in her domain. The issue was that her supervisor had assigned her a task which was of some other individual in diffetent field, however she refused stating lack of knowledge of that field, she was let go the very next day stating poor performance, neither any due process was followed nor she was given a chance to explain herself, worse was the fact that she was given 1 week notice period instead of standard notice period as it was cited that her performance was below average and serving the full notice period would not help the company. This was discriminatory and wrong at so many places, first she was right to refuse the work, second her side wasn't listened to and finally she was given less notice period. Such behaviours only bring bad name and image to company which decreases trust of employees.

Answer is complete. Thank you!
