When and how should resources be invested to close gaps between those who do and don’t use the Internet?
To close this gap, it is important to adjust the resources. In certain cases, when there are not intense requirements, the need for it should be reduced. There is no proper time or place to start. This is because the internet is used for many things nowadays.
It is also an access issue and understanding issue. In certain populations, there is no access to it and for others there is no understanding of the concept. Hence, only offering the resources to access the internet and providing the required equipment may not help. There is a need for training to help others understand issues related to information utilization, receptiveness, and accessibility.
It can also lead to development differences. This is why it can be a critical issue when it comes to facilitating productivity in different areas.
To close this gap, resources to be used in different dimensions of professional and personal life should be identified. After that economic divide should be considered. If one can't afford it, there is no use of usability of it. Once these factors are understood, one can be empowered to use internet by training and coaching.
