Explain the access and allocation differences between those who are well-insured, and those who are uninsured or under-insured.
Health insurance makes a difference when people are uninsured
and insured. Uninsured people have poor access to their health care
services due to a lack of insurance coverage. increased health care
cost makes
this difference and causes less affordable over time. they lose
their preventive care services, necessary followup
screening, regular outpatient care, and routine checkup, they
decline in their overall health.lack of health coverage
in a short period of time causes decreased access to care for
uninsured adults, children have problems access to full-year
coverage. uninsured people charge will be charged for full price
for their health care. uninsured people have a greater access gap
that makes them unhealthy compared to well-insured people.
resources allocation affected for uninsured due to political,
ethical, and economic factors for policy decsions, access to care,
services, individual independence, etc.
The well-insured population has more availability of services
compared to the uninsured. the insured population has a package of
benefits and has quality care. they will have regular access to
health care routine checkups, screening, and doctors' visits, they
will be healthy individuals due to their highest socio-economic
ranks. they exit gaps by allocating more resources for effective
and improved performance. this reduces their out-of-pocket cost
improves hospital access and provides quality care for them
compared to the underinsured population.
