Expert Solution

A) the biggest source of stress that I feel in my life right now is the ongoing pandemic. The whole world has been engulfed with corona virus and there have been stringent measures taken up to combat its threat. Yet, it is one of the major sources of stress that I feel today.

the kind of stress that this pandemic is imparting could be understood as short term stress. Short term, because we know that as soon as vaccines are out for the virus, life would take a course to be closer to normal.

b) this stress could be understood as a negative form of stress. It is arising due to the uncertainties and due to the different way of living that we are adapting to. Social distancing and being quarantined is adding to the anxiety of people. As a result, we tend to develop negative emotions. Being in closer association with society and with friends and family helps reducing stress by sharing and empathy. Though video calls help, but, human touch has a different impact all together.

c) in order to eliminate this negative stress, yoga and meditation could be one of the most useful methods. Indulging oneself in exercises, at home, can help channelize these negative emotions, release endorphins and elevate the mood. Also, talking to family over calls and friends can be one of the useful methods. Indulging into work can also help.
