do you believe that geographical region, occupation, and role in your occupation make a difference in how you handle conflict? Why?
Yes, I believe that geographical region, occupation, and role in my occupation make a difference in how I usually handle conflict. It is my occupation and my role that define me what I am and what kind of power I do have over others. It also reflects my ethical and social responsibility in a conflict. It could be understood with an example. Suppose I work as a marketing manager and my role is to design marketing strategy. I see there is a conflict between the team regarding a strategy yet to be employed. Since I am a manager and I have a role to play in the strategy, I would be hearing the concerns of each and every one. I would provide them feedback. And then I would choose what is best for the company. The geographical region could also make a difference. It is because it affects our nature. People living in hilly areas are usually soft-hearted people. They handle things in a most humble and polite manner like I do.
