Political parties plays the psychological game with the
general public to convince the people for choosing their candidates
and their policies-
this can be classified as follows-
- GENERALIZATION OF POLICY- It implies that they
generalize the policy that how their political policy/candidate
would be beneficial for all the general public.in this term they
may suggested the overall development instead of targeting
individual / specific community.
- HIGHLIGHTING THE POSITIVE ASPECTS- they may
only highlight the positive information about the concerned policy
and hide or cover up the adverse impact of the policy. in case of
candidate they might only speaks about their achievement but not
about their failure concerned with implementation of the policy and
promises which were earlier made.
- MUTUAL BENEFITS- political party may
ultimately comes on mutual benefit to convince the
person/public.they promises to provide better services concerned
with education,health benefit,development work etc.
- BETTER AND PREFERRED SERVICE IN FUTURE-
sometimes political parties promises to a specific group of person
to provide preference in service in future it they would get
success.
it can be result in both effective and
ineffective, let us get it cleared by following
case.

chances that the political party would be able to convince the
public to support their candidate/policy if the party have
following capabilities-
- GOODWILL-if the candidate is reputed and
having goodwill he would be able to convince.
- PAST DEALINGS AND THEIR FULFILLMENT- if past
promises were fulfilled then he can get the trust and confidence of
people.

chances that the political party would not be able
to convince the public to support their candidate/policy
if the party have following limitations

impression, scams, corruption charges then public won't support
them.
