Task-oriented leadership is in which the leader focuses on the tasks that need to be performed. Leader can use behavioural approach in which the leader focuses on the motivation, satisfaction and the general well being of the team members.

Task oriented leaders focus on getting the necessary task in hand in order to achieve a goal. These leader are more concerned with finding solution required to meet goals. They will often actively define roles required.& work to be executed,
These types of leaders develop strong understanding of how to get the job done, focusing on the necessary procedures and delegating work accordingly work to be execute.

Task oriented leaders don't tend to think much about their team's well-being, the advantage of task oriented leadership is that it ensures that deadlines can be achieved easily.

Behavioural based leaders are focused on motivating, supporting, and maintaing communication with people in their teams.The leader encourages good teamwork and collaboration

Relationship oriented leaders prioritize the welfare of everyoneand will place time and effort in meeting the individual needs of everyone involved.

The benefits of relationship-oriented leadership is that team members are in a setting where the leader cares about their well-being.

It is depend on how one can balance task-oriented and relationship-oriented leadership. These is basis on which one can judge the behaviour of leader, whether it is task oriented is or relationship oriented.
