What is the Formal Structure of the Organization and how is the change of environment going to impact how work is organized and coordinated? Describe how this will look as an Organizational Design for the future. Please provide academic references and scholarly insight to support your suggestions.

Formal structure of an organisation is a type of organisation structure where divisions and system takes place with proper rules and regulations laid out on how the departments and working will be done in the company.The formal structure of an organization basically has a hierarchy where structure starts from the president or CEO of the company different department's senior managers at the top and then middle level or lower-level managers, supervisors, and then comes the employees. In this process, lower-level employees or laborers are given instructions on how and what to be done within a specific time. Also, employees are generally not taken into consideration their opinions are ideas by top-level management.
The change of environment it depends on various factors such as internal or external changes, environmental changes, climate changes. External factors can be changed in technology, change in trends, change in law and politics, change in media. Internal factors can be changed in the management structure, business culture, knowledge, and skills required. Obviously in one way or another way change of environment impact how work is organized and its coordination level but if the organization is confident enough and plans for the changes to some extent prior then these changes may affect the organization in a positive manner. The effective business aur work by maybe fluctualtions in demand and supply ratios, replacement of technology overnight, skilled and capable employee might resign because he felt he deserves more than he is being paid now.
To look at this organizational design for the future, it's important to keep a check all company's departmental planning or check if the company isn't expending as it is expected to be. Planning and checking within a time limit is the key to look at what is the problem so that the organization design can be looked up to for the future. The company needs to decide whether to double the efforts in expansion or make necessary changes in the planning.
