One leader whom I admire is Martin Luther king. Martin Luther king was a great leader who depicted the transformational style of leadership. The transformational leaders are those who stimulate and inspire their followers by their own behaviors and act as a role model for them. Such leaders bring transformation in their followers and inspire them to do great things. Martin Luther king was a transformational leader and demonstrated the characteristics of a transformational leader namely idealized influence and inspirational motivation. He was considered as an iconic leader and acted as an ideal for his followers as he did things which he advocated to the others. He even sacrificed his life for his ideals but he never backed out from his stand. Similarly by his speeches he provided inspiration to millions to fight against the racial discrimination. For example his words “I have a dream” became famous across the globe and motivated both black and white people to fight against injustice. He truly brought a transformation in the society as he inspired not only his own people but also many white people to give up racial discrimination.
