Human Information system combines HR with IT, and improves the HR process to a huge level. It keeps a check on the activities of the employees, their salaries, appraisals, and other such things, and hence makes management of the workforce much easier.
How does this system work-
1. The entre data regarding the employees is integrated into one platform, just like ERP
2. The managers or employees can see their performance reviews, their objective etc at one click
3. The employees can regularly change the database such as their residential address, phone numbers etc. which saves HR vital time
4. New objectives for the employees can be conveyed to them at one go.
5. Employees can access reports or other things to which they are allowed access without any hassle
6. There is all transparency between the HR and employees due to a common IT platform.
