Solutions

Expert Solution

Ans-To improve my productivity in the business of selling sweets, desert, the bakery I would do the following things which are given below-

  • I will keep engage myself in doing things that will increase the produce rather than doing things that will not result in bringing productivity to my business in my free time. E.g., rather than playing any game on Facebook during my business hours or watching something on TV, I would clean the equipment which I use in baking things or preparing some bakery items ahead of time like keeping the bread dough ready will save time and more number of items can be prepared on time to serve the customers so that everyone gets what they want to eat on time.
  • Practice myself more on the preparation of sweets or baking items so that it always comes out perfectly even if I run out of time sometimes.
  • It is always good to be a multitasker and definitely, I would implement this in my business too. For e.g, while the cake gets baked up in the oven I could use that time to prepare the things which I will need to decorate it once it comes out from the oven and in this way, the time is utilized to do something productive rather just waiting and doing nothing and also these kind small tasks done ahead of time saves our time.
  • Reduce the distractions in and around us which kills our time very much like gossiping with others, always be in social media without any purpose.
  • I would always do my personal shopping when I am out for buying things for my business and by doing so I can utilize my time effectively and can give more time to my business.
  • It is said that motivation increases our productivity to a lot extent and so for motivating myself I would use some amount from the profits to give myself a treat or I can also buy my favorite things so that I get motivation from these and thus it will automatically help in increasing our productivity.
