Venturi mask:- It is also known as Air entrainment mask. It is used to deliver a known concentration of oxygen to patients being given controlled oxygen therapy.

it is a high flow oxygen delivery system because it supplies total inspiratory flow at a particular specified FiO2 to the patient.
It is used in patients who require high oxygen demands.

If the oxygen flow rate is 12 liters per minute and FiO2 is 30%, then the total flow will be 48Liters per minute. But if the FiO2 is 30% with oxygen flow rate being 12 liters per minute, total flow will be 108 L per minute.
