suitable for inhalation.
- Nebulizers use oxygen , compressed air or ultrasonic power to
break up medication solutions a deliver a therapeutic dose of
aerosol particles directly to the lungs.
- Small volume nebulizer is an aerosol generator used to deliver
liquid medications (eg.bronchodilators) to the mid to lower

treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
- Management of cystic fibrosis , bronchiectasis, HIV/ AIDS , and
symptomatic relief in palliative care.
- Asthma
LITER FLOW AND FiO2
- Nebulizers should only be driven by compressed air or by oxygen
at flow rates of at least 5-6 liter / min to ensure that droplets
of the correct size are produced.should be nebulizer, using 0.9% of
sodium chloride as a diluent if necessary.
- For all drugs, a minimum volume of 3-4 ml
