Internal collaboration:- This type of collaboration is within an organization wherein the pepole already know each other & have better understanding. It enables employess of to improve/enhance their connectivity, communications, productivity, social networking, sharing of files etc that increase interest of people in interactions & motivates them to work for the team, with the team. Herein business partners & communities of organization leverage the platform so that actions can be improvised, the basic objective is to meet the alligned goals/agenda of the organization. This obviously helps orgnization to be more competetive & helps in increasing the revenues , marketing startegies, product development & creates giant customer base. It connects people & also helps in maintaining an ethical culture.

3 types of Internal collaborations are:-

1> Team Collaboration:- The most often & most visible form of collraboration is team collaboration. The individuals are of the group are already known to each other, they have set tasks/goals, clear dependencies & expected reciprocity; time-lines for each for each task of each member. Each individal is aware of their objectives & these have to be met within assigned deadlines.

Example:- There is a team of 10 members for an assigned region (EMEA) in an procurement service. A new service has been enrolled suudenly & pilot needs to be run for this. 3 most experienced players steped in to take in charge & rest of the 7 members are still working on their objectives. Now the 3 are burdened, help from other teams belonging to other region was taken so that work is not hampered & final goal of deadlines are met.

2> Community Collaboration:- Wherein the objective of collaboration is more inclined towards the learnings & enhancement in knowledge area, rather then meeting objectives; the collaboration is termed as Community Collaboration. Members from different teams, services share a common domain/ interest area, wherein discussion & sharing if information happens which can help members of that community to widen their knowledge base, experiences so that other can take learnings & apply in future within their teams.

Example:- A community was created for negotiations, members from different teams joined the Negotiation community & they can share their past experiences wherein they were able to pull better discounts from vendors. Other can take this as learning & apply where ever needed.

As stated above membership to this community is bounded, people may join & leave, but as knowledge is the key here, experienced members will have more status & power in this community.

3> Network Collaboration:- This is an unexplicit & unbounded collaboration of members, wherein individuals do not know all the members. It starts with personal/individual interest, which then builds the network seeking people with similar interest. This is usually created with the help of social media platforms, internet connection with diverse individuals across distances with similar interest. Basically networks become the key to gather the entire information from different sources & then filtering the worth experienced & creating a subject out of it.

Example:-Supposedly in an marketing team, people have to find different data. Individual worked upon & bookmarked the websites they found & sharing this using a social media tool. This helps in creating a wide pool of bookmarks & also identifying who is working relevantly in the direction which is needed. Team members can also take help from bookmarks & information from other members of the network.

Reciprocity is undefined in Network Collaboration.
