Amazon is a web based company which provides platform where manufactures of the product interact with customers and sell their product online. Online retailing is different from the traditional retailing business where scope of products is unlimited from books to toys and DVDs to electronic products. Technological advancement helped Amazon to enhance its business process by making it very effective business strategy and philosophy to manage its environment with coordination from different functional divisions of the business.

Amazon is very good example of that how technology could enhance a business process through the internet based adverting and business as they have huge customer base worldwide and their customers are getting regular updated on the special offers of the company. They analyze the buying and browsing pattern of the customers and update them with the new offerings. As trend set by Amazon, now days, it’s almost compulsion for the other companies to follow the internet based adverting for their business otherwise they will be left behind in their businesses.
