Lens Care Inc. (LCI) manufactures specialized equipment for polishing optical lenses. There are two models - one mainly used for fine eyewear (F-32) and another for lenses used in binoculars, cameras, and similar equipment (B-13). The manufacturing cost of each unit is calculated using activity-based costing, using the following manufacturing cost pools: Cost Pools Allocation Base Costing Rate Materials handling Number of parts $ 2.40 per part Manufacturing supervision Hours of machine time $ 14.80 per hour Assembly Number of parts $ 3.30 per part Machine setup Each setup $ 56.50 per setup Inspection and testing Logged hours $ 45.50 per hour Packaging Logged hours $ 19.50 per hour LCI currently sells the B-13 model for $1,775 and the F-32 model for $1,220. Manufacturing costs and activity usage for the two products are as follows: B-13 F-32 Direct materials $ 164.50 $ 75.60 Number of parts 160 120 Machine hours 7.90 4.20 Inspection time 1.70 0.80 Packaging time 0.90 0.50 Setups 3 2 If the market price for B-13 and F-32 are reduced to $1,695 and $1,095 respectively, and Lens Care wants to maintain market share and profitability, what is the target cost for B-13 and F-32 (round to nearest whole dollar)? B-13 F-32 A) $ 80 $ 120 B) $ 1,378 $ 125 C) $ 318 $ 856 D) $ 1,378 $ 856 E) $ 318 $ 422

Select any 3 questions of your choice from the 13 questions below, and respond to each of your selected 3 questions, providing as much detail and information as you are able. You will likely need to refer to your nutrition textbook or the Internet to fully answer the questions

1. What is the purpose of the DETERMINE checklist?

2. How do the abilities to taste and smell change as a person ages? How can these changes affect diet?

3. What gastrointestinal changes commonly accompany aging in the elderly? How do these changes affect nutritional health?

4. In general, how does body composition and weight change as men and women age past 30?

5. How does the occurrence of menopause affect a woman’s risk of heart disease and breast cancer?

6. How do energy and macronutrient needs change as people age past 50?

7. How does the need for water change as a person ages? Why does staying hydrated present more of a challenge for the elderly?

8. Deficiencies of which vitamins and minerals increase in older people?

9. Sean and Pat are both in their 80s and live on a limited income in a medium sized city. They usually eat at home and have almost the same diet every day of the week. They are finding that shopping and preparing three meals a day takes a lot of their energy. Pat especially has lost interest in cooking and sometimes only has tea and toast for dinner. Because neither Sean nor Pat drives, shopping means a bus trip to the store and back, along with walking several blocks.

A) What type of assistance programs could Sean and Pat take advantage of to help them get adequate nutrition while relieving them of some of the shopping, cooking and cleaning chores? B) What steps would you take to assess the diet of an elderly person like Sean or Pat? What dietary standards would be most useful?
C) How do the nutritional needs of an older couple like Sean or Pat differ from those of middle- aged people?

10. Discuss why aging is considered to be a continuous process.

11. Although people are living longer, why is it important that natural and social scientists improve their quality of life in their later years?

12. Explain why older adults have differing nutritional needs due to physiological changes as well as disease and prescription drug use. How can good exercise and dietary habits prevent deterioration due to aging?

13. Why do the changes in body composition seen during aging affect energy needs?

Create a style rule for the body element that:

  1. Sets the width to 90% of the browser window, ranging from a minimum width of 640 pixels up to a maximum width of 1024 pixels.
  2. Sets the top/bottom margin to 30 pixels and the left/right margin to auto.
  3. Displays the body as a CSS grid.
  4. Creates six grid columns each with a width of 1fr.
  5. Creates five grid rows with widths of 50 pixels, 30 pixels, 1fr, 1fr, and 100 pixels.
  6. Adds a grid gap of 15 pixels.

Set the size of the grid items as follows:

  1. Have the header element span from gridline 1 to gridline -1.
  2. Have the article#intro element span two rows and two columns.
  3. Have the article#main element two rows and three columns.
  4. Have the footer element span two columns.

The goal of Java program(s) implemented as part of this assignment is:
1. To use for, while, do-while loops to solve the given problem(s)
2. Write custom method(s)
Note:
Be sure to document your code thoroughly. In other words, you must comment
each pertinent line of code to briefly state what it is intending to do.

Requirement-1

In the Requirement-1 you will create a program named
‘ComputeCompoundInterest, that will compute compound interest using the
formula as follows:
amount = principal * ( 1 + rate )numYears
(a) Ask the user to enter the following 3 data elements:
(i) The ‘Principal’
(ii) The ‘Interest Rate’
(iii) The ‘Number of Years’
(b) You will write the following 3 custom methods, each using a different loop
type to compute and print compound interest using the above mentioned
formula:
(i) “computeWhile”
(ii) “computeDoWhile”
(iii) “computeFor”
March 2, 2019
page 3
(c) Each method will take 3 parameters, as mentioned in (a) above, with the
right type, and will not be returning anything. So be sure the method
signature is defined the right way. Hint: return value should be ‘void’
(d) Each of the 3 methods should be called/invoked from the main() method of
your class
(e) The output from each of the 3 methods should look like the following. The
number of rows of output will depend on the number of years entered by
the user input. Sample output should like the following:
Output from ‘while’ loop:
Year 1 Amount: $xxx
Year 2 Amount: $yyy
…..
…..
Output from ‘do-while’ loop:
Year 1 Amount: $xxx
Year 2 Amount: $yyy
…..
…..
Output from ‘for’ loop:
Year 1 Amount: $xxx
Year 2 Amount: $yyy
…..
…..
Note:
• Please add a blank line after the output from each method is completed

13. What do you perceive as the possible reason(s) that have led to MIS development occurring at a slower pace in the health service sector than in the business

14.  Imagine you are an IS consultant from the business sector and have been hired by the chief executive officer (CEO) of a small rural hospital to assist in the development of a HMIS. What could you say about the difference in environmental, organizational, and technological contexts between the two industrial sectors? How would your strategy be the same and how would it be different in comparison to planning and developing a MIS for a large health service organization versus a small one?

15. Define health information resource management (HIRM) and describe its purpose.

Since force is m*a, it has units of kg m/s^2 . Energy has units of kg m^2/s^2. Thus it appears that by lazy dimensional analysis that a force times a distance will have units of energy. This turns out to be the formula to calculate work. Note also that kg m^2/s^2 looks like mv^2. Here if we use dimensional analysis, we would *almost* find the formula for kinetic energy. We'd be off by a factor of two since KE=1/2 mv^2. Note that this would still be useful for estimation (such as we did the first few weeks).

I WANT TO IMPLEMENT THIS IN JAVA PLEASE

I want to create a small user input system for a university student, where they put the season and year of when they started their uni course. For example the system will ask "What year did you start your degree?", the user will input "Autumn/2022" as a string. Now from a string format as shown, it should take that user input and calculate for example +2 or +3 years to the date. Also it needs to be able to change from Autumn, to another season depending on the amount of years it takes. So if the course will take 3 years, the student will finish "Summer/2025".

How can I implement this?
