Hypertension is the greatest health issue which most of the people in USA have, approximately 12.5%. It is also known as the high blood pressure. In this the blood flows at a higher rate in the blood vessels. It can cause Heart Attack or stroke. There are many reasons for Hypertension such as obesity, alcohol, and high age. It is also sometimes called as silent killers because it exerts extra load on the blood vessels and also on the heart.
The government has played a vital role in fighting with hypertension. It has invested large amounts in cardiovascular science and medicine. Government investment in population health research ,clinical outcomes and the access to care are very important steps. Government continues to have an important role in promoting the health of the public and regarding the the preventive measures of hypertension. The Federal government has the constitutional authority to implement and enforce the law to protect the health of the people in their country. They are also playing a role in scientific discovery, Healthcare Finance and delivery of quality care drugs and devices to improve the population health and its regulation. To focus on the hypertension prevention, public Health system population-based policy had been implemented. Which issued general guidelines on how to to cope up with hypertension.
