For this week’s discussion, I would like you to briefly share an experience related to team dynamics. The experience can come from the workplace, sports, college, or even family life. The one key aspect that I’m looking for you to discuss is conflict. What conflict ensued and how it was resolved?
I believe that in order to succeed in a group or team we need to have cooperation and team work instilled in us or else it would not be fruitful to a great extent in any context. A team is generally formed of various individuals from various backgrounds and culture and the team is generally irrespective of any type of discrimibation. Hence it is quite obvious that there would be conflicts in a team because that is very normal and it gives us more and better options to select from. Conflicts should be healthy and hygienic which should abide by the organizational norms and it should not turn ugly.
I have been involved in such instances in sports as well as in project teams in the organization and have experienced conflicts and also realized that conflicts bring out the best option that would be applicable for the organization and based on that the organization may turn out to be successful. We have seen one decision changing it big time in a team and that is the objective of conflicts which needs to be practiced.
