STATE LEGISLATION Vs FEDERAL REGULATIONS OF MARIJUANA: Cultivation, production, distribution or possession of marijuana is a federal criminal offense under the Controlled Substances Act. But despite federal prohibition, state sanctioned marijuana and then the industries of marijuana have developed and expanded.
