For choosing a credible article,Google scholar and PubMed was selected.

I had chosen a topic related to diabetes mellitus. I searched it in Google scholar and PubMed. After assessing both, I found Google scholar as a credible resource for scholarly work and is helpful for personal development.

PubMed is also helpful for acquiring knowledge for nursing work. It gives an overall explanation about diabetes.

Google scholar provides a summary of different studies,most recent study results.

PubMed gives yearly comparison of studies.

Google scholar is based on evidence based practice.

PubMed is based on incidence and prevalence.

Google scholar gives detailed description of various aspects related to diabetes. All recent studies on every aspects is mentioned in detail.

PubMed gives detailed description of    diabetes.in a special format ,includes Introduction , etiology, epidemiology,Pathophysiology,History and physical,evaluation,treatment,management,

differential diagnosis ,ongoing trials,patient education, prognosis,health care outcome

PubMed have less references (60 ) than Google scholars (209).

For nursing work for students etc the PubMed is helpful. It is easy to understand as it is point wise.

For scholarly work Google scholar is useful because a lot of research study results and latest information are available. A lot of references can get from a single article.

knowledge is power.so for acquiring more knowledge we should refer every sources that helps .
