Motivation refers to an individually energized state to fulfill a certain desire or a goal. The motivation psychological state has there important factors or elements

  • Intensity- It refers to the motivational force. How much people try hard and put in the effort to achieve the goal. If the motivational force is high then people would be attracted to performing certain actions or behaviors. For instance, Joseph is motivated to train hard to become a footballer- He practices moring and evening.
  • Direction- It refers to the actions that need to be performed/executed to achieve the goal. What a person wants to achieve or what they want to do. For instance, To get an A grade in the test, John knows how much daily he needs to study and he has to take a practice test.
  • Persistence- It refers to how committed and determined a person is in order to accomplish his/her goal. For instance, Karl wants to become a professional dancer, so he is persistent in his practice. he is motivated every day to practice and learn new skills.
