Expert Solution

Jim Collins outlines the twelve principles and in this competitive world, I feel his three principles of leadership selected by me are the most important one as I have analyzed them. I believe they are inspirational to technical professionals to build a great organization. These are discussed as follows:

  1. Getting the right people on the bus: A technical professional should try to learn the skills and tactics that to hire such people /employees who can really work with them in technical or specific project. We should focus to frame after taking speciality test, soft skills etc. If, a manager will not have good member in team then definitely it will delay the task completion.
  2. Fire off small bullets before you launch a cannonball: Great success comes with a single small efforts or development. A technical professional should build his capabilities to with small innovation. This must fulfil the needs of the society at large. This will provide motivation to achieve some great technologies further.

3) What kind of clock do you want to build?

In this point Collins want to tell to the professionals that only money cannot fulfil the dream or inner aspirations of any individual. We must care the society, family and our colleagues .The value based business operation can serve to our purpose to become great leader as well as a part ofa great organization.
