Expert Solution

Positive leadership is that form of leadership in which individuals and organizations perform their level best upto their highest potential.

Under a positive leader's guidance, individuals perform extremely well, with effectiveness and possess high levels of elevating energy. They make people thrive for excellence and not slog for results.

They run on principles of positive psychology such as motivation, hope, optimism, creativity and productivity. Positive leaders take care of the strengths of each individual under them, put them together to work for the larger goals of the organization as a whole. This would lead to the betterment of both the organization and the individuals.

An example of positive leadership: Mr. X is a leader. He always comes to office on time for he believes in practicing what he preaches. Whenever an employee has any issue in their work, Mr. X listens to them actively. He gives his employees an opportunity to speak up their mind. He gives his team challenging tasks and rewards them when achieved thereby ensuring their progress. His employees feel motivated all the time and there is hardly any absenteeism at work. Mr. X is a positive leader.
