Imagine that you have been appointed to a national committee to address the problems of sexual harassment, rape, and abuse. What recommendations would you make for government policy, the legal system, universities, business institutions, the media, and educational programs?

Some common myth regarding rape are sexual abuse are:  

  • People fail to control their sexual urge and do sexual assault following the uncontrollable emotional urge.
  • Some people love barbarism and by doing so they want to fulfill their barbaric nature.
  • In some communities the community culture leads to the sexual assault of the women.
  • People are also tempted to do sexual assault.
  • Sometimes women's dress and sexual appeal causes sexual arousal in the people that cause rape.

In the government policy the following steps should be taken.

  • The government should take steps to impart sex education in the children.
  • The relation between men and women should be spontaneous and natural.
  • Women education and empowerment should be emphasized.
  • There should be special department to develop the women and their security should be ensured.
  • In various fields the women representatives should be increased.
  • In every workshop the code of conduct should be specially mentioned and the management must ensure the security of the women.
