According to the product documentation, it is at least 300 units/mg, so we'll use that value for the conversion. Instead of 0.0145 units/uL, we are making a solution that's 10x as concentrated (0.145 units/uL) and make 10mL of the solution. How many mg of LDH we should use to make that solution?

Solutions

Expert Solution

Since we are making solution of concentration equals to 0.145 units/uL.

so,    we can say that

                                  1 uL contains = 0.145 units

and,      we know,      1 uL = 10(-6) L = 10(-3) mL

so we can say,

                                 10(-3) mL contanis = 0.145 units

      so                        1 mL contains = 0.145*10(3) units

            then              10 mL will contais = 0.145*10(4) units = 1450 units

And finally,                    300 units = 1 mg     1 unit = (1/300) mg

so                                 1450 units will = (1/300)*1450 = 4.833 mg

The amount of LDH is required = 4.833 mg
