Studying history of psycology is important because:-

1. Past ideas may be incorporated into a new theory tomorrow.

2.The current psychological theories are somehow influenced by someone or something in the past.

3. study may help us provide solutions for some of the questions that have concerned scholars over a long time.

4. The most important reason why to study the history of psychology is to understand the basis of its present diversity. By studying the history and systems of psychology, we are now able to identify the key cultural and political events in the evolution of psychology to the present.

Psychology:-   is the scientific study of the mind and behavior.  It is a multifaceted discipline and includes many sub-fields of study such areas as human development, sports, health, clinical, social behavior and cognitive processes.
