  2. The management must be very realistic while doing the negotiation with unions.
  3. Management may give some relevant information to the union members so that they can carry out collective bargaining.
  4. The management must make sure that the negotiation process must not become complex.
  5. Also it is important for the management to understand the union structure carefully.
  6. By showing some cooperation with the union members, it is advisable to secure the agreement.

Tactics followed by unions :-

  1. Unions may avoid the long dragging of bargain.
  2. Divide the monetary and non-monetary rewards.
  3. Unions may want to bargain, but bargain in a simple way regarding the important issues.
  4. Union leader as well as the members may want to focus hard on the approach to get management's interest.
