Expert Solution

In daily life we encounter lots of organic compounds. Some of them have positive effects and some of them have negetive effects. Now the ones with posiive effects will be discussed first briefly,

1) The positive organic compounds are mostly comes to us naturally or through foods. Vegetables, fruits, different foods are full of organic compounds. For example, most of the green vegetables has vitamine A; lemon has vitamine C, tartaric acid; rice contains vitamine B12; carrots contain carotene; tea and coffee contains caffeine; milk contains thiamin, riboflavin, vitamin B12; sea foods contain fatty acids, iodine and so on. Other than foods, furnitures like the plastic chairs, tables, polythene bags all are composed of organic polymeric compounds. The soaps, detergents we use in everyday life contains surfactans which are also organic compounds. Importantly the medicine we take daily life are made of organic compounds. Our body hair also contains sulfurated amino acids we have seval amino acids in our body. Almost every aspect of our everyday life we are encountering organic compounds which has positive effects on us.

2) The organic compounds we deal everyday life having negative effect are also not any less. As we take lots of positive organic compounds through foods, similarly we take lots of organic compounds having negative effect through food. For example, the pesticides used to grow vegetables are very dengerous for health we are consuming them knowingly. Smokers consuming nicotine everyday and make non-smokers to consume indirectly. This is very dengerous as there is possiblity of having lung cancer. The fumes and waste of chemical industries are toxic materials which is responsible for pollution of society are also organic compounds.

In this way we are encountering lots of both kind of organic compounds. Even if we want to avoid them we can not do that.
