1. How do painters, sculptors or architects create different textures on their work?
2. Why is design important for an artist! For an observer?
1)As texture of material is the surface property of the material,it is the way one feels when he touches art work in case of sculptures and it is the way one feels or has an impression when looks at an art in case of a painting
2)In case of a sculptor, the artist makes the surface smooth by using methods like polishing, sand the surface or buff the surface and he might roughen up the surface by techniques like platina, bleaching or gouging
3) In case of painting the artist uses the brush strokes to change the textures, they may also change the medium or materials to change textures.
4)In case of architecture,an architect changes lights and shadows in the structure or may even use different materials on the surface to change the look and feel
1) Designs are important because they increase the appreciation and engagement in the art, craft and design as critical consumers and audiences and an understanding of its role in creative and cultural audiences that shape and enrich their lives and also impact the life of audiences.
2)As the observer is impacted by the art and also is moved by it which might change his perception towards many things, therefore design of an art is important.
