When confronted with a discrepancy in the plans and specifications, what form do you use to get an answer from the architect?
1- Submittal
2- AIA Form 101
3- RFI
4- RFP
Reason for answer - RFI is a form used in construction industry to get the answer from architect or client when there is any issues in the given construction documentation i.e. plans, specifications, samples, etc. to execute the scope of work.
Reasons for not being the answer -
1. Submittal - These are the construction documentation itself submitted by architect primarily to execute the scope of work.
2. AIA Form 101 - These forms are generally used to implement changes in the scope of work which has been mutually agreed by client, architect and contractor.
4. RFP - These forms are usually raised to know the detailed specifications of a service, product,etc.
