In order to meet the challenges ahead, recognizing changing nature of the role and use of job descriptions and person specification is necessary. How could job description affect job design strategy? As Herzberg, lack of some factors may affect employee motivation. So corporates effectively identified need of eliminating unnecessary level of supervision and checking and control. And it is aptly communicated via job description. It never means compromising quality standards. If freedom prevails, critical thinking would evolve and then rational thinking would emerge, automatically best of the employee would come out and organization grows. Specification also indicates rotating nature, as diversity helps the employee to understand the organization.
