Can you relate an example of the worst team in which you have participated?
What do you attribute to the failure of the team and how was the failure seen in the results?
In my professional career, I have had the opportunity to work with around 5 to 6 teams and the experience of working with such teams has beedn mixed. If I have to pick one and state that it was the worst experience, I would pick my second team for which I worked for around 6 to 7 months although it was quite a bad experience for me as I was unable to work with the minimum peace of mind. Such condition of the team was due to trust issues of the team leader who had almost no trust and this lead to performance issue in the team.
The environment in the team was very negative and I believe this makes things even more difficult. Structurally the team was there but in real it never became a team because everyone was concerned about saving themselves first hence the team did not come up. The performance was impacted to quite an extent and individuals actually got demotivated and the organization had to step in and re structure the team as well.
