GENETICS IN SCHIZOPHRENIA
Researchers suggest that genetic and environmental factors act together to bring schizophrenia. If there is no history of schizophrenia in a family the chances of developing it are less than one percent and the risks rises to ten percent of a parent develops schizophrenia. There is no evidence to prove that family relations might cause schizophrenia. Schizophrenia belongs to a group of pathologies known as complex genetic disorders. It has been assumed that changes in DNA sequences are responsible for the transmission of schizophrenia. The current evidence strongly recommend that the mutation frequency spectrum comprises a mix of many common and rare mutations.
TREATMENT OF SCHIZOPHRENIA

Ziprazidone
Olanzapine
