define restorative justice? How is restorative justice different from traditional justice approaches? Do you believe this should be implemented in all cases? Why or why not?
Answer- Restorative justice is that system in which victim, offenders and the community are brought together to resolve the conflict among the parties and to bring back the peace and harmony among them. In this the offender is made accountable for his wrongdoings. And the victims are healed through this approach.
Restorative justice is different from traditional justice approaches in the way that traditional justice system punishes the offender without giving any chance to anyone. But in restorative justice everyone is heard and chance is given for improvement.
I think this should not be implemented in all cases. It should be implemented in those cases where the offence is very small so that the offender is also heard and given a chance for improvement. But this should not be implemented in big issues where the culprit has committed a big offence and can be given no chance of improvement.
