this is more of a sociology question .how does a bureaucratic organization function , and what are the advantages and disadvantages

Bureaucratic organization works in a well structured form in comparison to any other form of organizational work approach.This is a kind of Pyramidal structure form in which every department has their defined set of tragets to acheive and their all are answerable to their higher rank recruit.This is a well structured approach for gaining efficiency in working and setting a bar for everyone about the standardization of working which is required for the organization.

Advantages :- This structure helps you in recruiting staff according to the particular requirement.A central power govern the whole organization.Divison of work is easly manageable with this approach.

Disadvantages:- There are some basic flaws in this system as well.Such as Lack of Manuverability because it is not that easy for a big organization to be flexible that much with this structural set.Implementing new things take ample time.
