What is Class B Concrete? and Before you select your concrete supplier, what is required?
Class B concrete contains the following specifications:
1) Coarse Aggregate Size No.-56,57,67
2)Minimum Cement Factor lbs/yd- 470
3)Max Water/ Cement ratio lbs/lb - 0..660
4)Slump acceptance Limits (in) Lower-Upper: 2-4
5)Entrained Air Acceptance Limits (%) Lower-Upper: 0-6
6)Minimum Compressive Strength at 28 days (psi) : 2200
Before contacting your concrete supplier, you need to share your project specifications to estimate that the total amount of material needed for your project. The supplier will also determine if your concrete will require the inclusion of admixtures. Responsible for setting up a delivery time and preparing worksite in anticipation of the arrival of concrete. When arranging the delivery of the order, the supplier will select their closest concrete facility to reduce the travel distance of the concrete trucks. The ready-mix item should be conveyed within 90 minutes of its underlying arrangement to keep the material at its functional state. In the event that you request support materials, they will land on a different truck a long time before your planned solid conveyance date to give you sufficient time to completely set up your worksite.
