The purpose of this document is to establish that your dissertation question, the summary of intent and research methods are in accordance with requirements.

1. Proposed Title of Research

Please note that your title may subsequently be adjusted as your research develops.

2. Background to the Topic (context) / Review of Literature

A brief justification of the importance and the need to address this issue. Provide some of the most relevant and appropriate literature you will be drawing on in your research with references.

3. Research Question, Aim, and Objectives

The precise statement on what you intend to investigate, explain and prove. Please write at least one summary paragraph including your research rationale, the aims and the objectives of your research.

5. Proposed research strategy/methodology:

How you intend to collect and analyze the information and evidence to answer your research objectives and questions.

6. Motivation (optional)

Indicate your interest in gaining such an experience and how you feel your research would help your personal development and career portfolio.
