Human being needs various factors of motivation to progress in life. Hence a person seeks motivation. At extreme levels motivatin is also required for living.

1. Personal interest - This can be the greatest forms of motivation, if a person is interested in something and has core interest then even situational factors do not play role. My personal interest is about personalities which motivated me to take

2. Situational interest - Situation can make a person intered in doing things, it can help in changing a few factors in personality. I was never that fashion conscious person, but went to London for time being. Seeing the environment around made me change. I started opting for good clothes.

3. Expectancy - In university level and at bread and butter level expectancy are the major motivational factors inspite of personal interest. During my university days, I wanted admission in a particular college which led me to focus more, or even today I have responsibility of kid and other house hold expenses which motivates me to work more nd earn more.

4. Valure mastery goal - This is cognitive factor, here the subject or the topic becomes mroe demanding over expectancy. One wants to master a particular things which motivates a person to work more.
