Organizational change refers to the transition of the organization from its current state to future change. The change is done to the organization in order to make it more innovative and competitive so that the organization can meet its short-term and long-term goals.

Commitment to change is importantaspect which link people and change goal together so that the change process is successful. commitment to change is built by communicating change effectively. It is important for management to do the following: -

  • To be clear and honest about the change that is going to take place and the reason for the change.
  • It is important to understand the emotional impact the change may bring throughout the organization and acknowledge them appropriately.
  • Informing everyone about the positive aspect of change and it can benefit employees and organization.
  • Explaining effectively about the process of change and how it will take place.
  • Telling the employees about the role they need to play in the change process.
  • Making a two-way communication channel and answer questions and resolve the doubts of employees about the change process
