Recognition and feedback play a crucial role in enhancing the performance of any system. Continuous feedback acts as a mirror that shows the strength and weaknesses of a system or an individual based on which recognition can be done. For example, if all the employees are evaluated in an organization, their feedback can be shared as an appreciation for the top performers. This appreciation factor is termed as recognition. The recognition can be in the form of monetary benefits, awards, job promotions, etc., Hence the feedback is used to train and make the entire workforce ready to give or receive the feedback and use it in a constructive way to improve the performance.
