The rational decision-making process includes the identification of the problem and looking for the best alternative that can resolve the problem in hand. If we look at the given scenario in the question, the person is quite inspired to have a career in the Hospitality industry. But the problem is that the post COVID19 era, the hospitality industry is going to be one of the worst-hit industries as predicted by the experts.

If we look at the given situation, the person is quite motivated to have the career in the hospitality industry, thus when the rational decision making is implemented, it indicates that it is not a good time to enroll in the course of Hospitality and Tourism courses as the future of this industry looks gloomy. But in my opinion, there will be an end of this situation down the timeline of 2-3 years and things will become normal once again. The world has seen similar types of crises in the form of Spanish flu and plague but after that epidemic, all the industries revived. With this assumption that sooner or later there will be a solution of COVID 19, the hospitality industry will also revive.

Thus looking at these rationales and chances of the revival of the industry, I would suggest that person should enroll in the course. There are two reasons first and foremost is the passion for the hospitality career and second is the optimism that the world will get over with the pandemic sooner or later.
