Who was a better leader for the Chinese people - Hongwu or Yongle? Explain your answer
Hongwu's real name was Zhu Yuanzhang. He was born in 1328 in eastern China. He was the first emperor of Ming dynasty.
On the other hand, real name of Yongle was Zhu Di. He was born in 1360. He was the third ruler of Ming dynasty. Yongle was the favorite son of Hongwu. He was the fourth son of Hongwu.
Hongwu was the person who set up a newsystem for government. He set up a well maintained system of army as well as the community. Hongwu started many new systems of ruling and his son Yongle keep them expanding. Yongle put much efforts in expanding the empire of his father Hongwu, and actually he did it very well.
Yongle was best known for his work on expanding his empire through ocean. He spread his Chinese culture all over his empire as well as in the world as much as possible. Yongle expands its empire towards the southern side. He acquired java and southern India. He transfer his national capital from Nanjing to Beijing
