Forward and reverse primer : The primers are the short nucleotide sequences from where DNA synthesis begins.because Taq DNA polymerase can add nucleotide only onto a preexisting 3'-OH group,it needs a primer, onto which it can add first nucleotide.Forward primer attaches to the start codon while reverse primer attaches to stop codon.
  3. Taq Polymerase : The main important function of Taq DNA polymerase is to replicate the DNA.Taq DNA polymerase catalyzes the formation of DNA.this enzyme is used because it can withstand at higher temperature.it adds the dNTP at growing DNA.
  4. Nucleotides (dNTPs): In Polymerase chain reaction Taq DNA polymerase synthesizes a new DNA strand during successive cycles of PCR amplification.dNTPs are the building blocks of the DNA.there are four dNTPs are used they are :dATP,dCTP, dGTP and dTTP.
