"How is Strategic HR planning part of leadership and what purpose does it serve?"
The strategic HR planning has its direct links with that the management of humans resources because strategic HR planning allows successful attainment of the organizational objectives. This is similar to leadership in which organizations work in a routine manner to ensure that the organizational goals are achieved. Furthermore, the decisions made through strategic HR planning also helps in making future decisions and directs the organizations towards a sustainable future.
The purpose of strategic HR planning is as follows:
1. It ensures that the organization remains flexible and is able to manage any changes that will be required in future.
2. Keeping up with the technological, legislative, economical and social trends that impact the human resources.
3. It ensures that the organization have requires human resources and it is able to meet the organizational plans and strategic goals all at the right time.
