Answer 1A
Scheduling is defined as the determination of the two different kinds of decisions one is allocation decision which is concerned with which resource which will be assigned to perform each of the jobs and the other decisions is Sequencing decision. Sequencing decision is concerned with what will be the order and when are the jobs of each of them to be performed.
Answer 1B.
The example of sequence is for example the best sequence to minimize the the span of a job is is D,E,F,G show the sequence of this job will be first D, then E after that F and after that G.
Scheduling can be of many types for example priority scheduling is the method of scheduling in which a given task is considered in the same sequence as priority schedule for example in the given above sequence of task the priority schedule is for D task.
Answer 2
Scheduling can affect customer service and cost in many ways for example scheduling can prioritize the customer service with respect to other activities which help in building brand reputation and the customer, if he becomes highly satisfied with the scheduling process of the company he will spread word of mouth publicity and which will lead in increase in sales. Scheduling can also help the company in saving cost of production by prioritizing the tasks, which will automatically lead to increase in sales. For example if tasks are scheduled properly the overall production process will take less time and this will lead to more production in less time which is directly proportional to increase production output and increase sales.
Answer 3

1. Workplace task allocation decisions.
2. Assigning the right person for the right job.
3. Deciding the schedule changes of job.
