    • Where in the communication process did the break happen?
    • What factors caused this break in communication?
    • How did the principles of respect, assertiveness, collaboration, delegation, and advocacy figure in your example? If any of these did not apply, please state so.
    • Which therapeutic or non-therapeutic communication techniques were used? Were they verbal or non-verbal, or written?
    • Which defense mechanisms, if any, were used?

For me personally Break-in Communication,mostly occurs when patient is insecure and there is no privacy.The patient mostly awaits to express his opinions only to the doctor.

-In the communication process the break started with the trust issues and the patient was unable to express his condition,medication,any kind of information effectively

-Here factors which caused break-in communication may be the rise in probability of medical mistakes,patient's rate of literacy,information produced,loose of focus because of workload, patient didn't find comfort for sharing the info, privacy issues.. Etc...

-Therapeutic techniques which can be used here may be -by introducing yourself and offer any help,actively listen to him, show interest,know his opinions ,encourage him to tell about himself and his condition,gain his trust, make him comfortable and provide privacy and time

-Non-therapeutic techniques which can be used here are defensive mechanism when the patient doesn't have confidence and criticize about healthcare system you can explain about hospital facilities and about doctor's expertise..

-Effective communication can be
